Insurance and FMCSA Compliance

As required by the Federal Highway Safety Administration, Green Mountain Piano is insured with Northland Insurance Company for Combined Single Limit Public Liability: $1,000,000. Agent: Coburn Insurance Agency, Inc. Colchester, Vermont.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safetly Administration (FMCSA) sets standards and regulates all interstate moves. All common motor carriers of household goods wishing to operate in interstate transportation are required to maintain evidence of liability and cargo insurance, designate a process agent, offer arbitration as a means of settling disputes, and maintain an interstate tariff which lists your rates and charges and all of the rules which apply to your rates and charges. Our tariff (list of rates and charges) is available for inspection upon request.

We participate in the arbitration program provided by the American Moving and Storage Association. Details available on request. Process Agents have been designated for all 48 states. A complete list is available upon request.
