Selecting Moving Company . . .

Caveat Emptor is Latin for "buyer beware" Have you ever gone online or looked in a phone book to find a company to move your piano? If you have, you know that you can be bombarded by an assortment of companies that move furniture, homes, etc. As we all know, the best piano movers are just that: They move PIANOS and only pianos. We are the people who know exactly how to prepare you, your piano, your floors, your railings, and your property. Furniture movers are typically the type to lift a heavy object because they have the capability, rather than find a more controlled approach. To many, a piano is merely a very heavy piece of furniture. A piano mover has a real appreciation of the sentiment attached to a piano and the emotions that surround an instrument of its stature.

Green Mountain Piano quotes with insurance included. There are no hidden costs.

What is their time frame for moving?
Some companies will tell you that you will be scheduled within 6-8 weeks. Some will give you 4-hour windows of time. Some will tell you that the driver will call the morning he is in your area. Green Mountain Piano sets date and time appointments, typically giving a 2-hour time window.

Hidden Costs?
Are there fees for having to reschedule? Do they have "wait fees"? Do they have a certain cost per stair? Green Mountain Piano does not have any hidden fees.
